KPC are polypropylene film , aluminium foil .
Non-inductive winding construction, extended foil
impregnated UL class 94V-0 preformed case with
thermosetting resin fill, Terminals tinned copper.
Power semiconductor devices require fast
switching and low loss characteristics.
These characteristics demand snubber capacitors
which have very low losses, high dv/dt and low
series inductance.
FEATURES:
◆Polypropylene as dielectric for achieving low losses
◆Aluminium foil as electrodes to achieve maximum dv/dt
◆ Special mechanical construction to achieve minimum
series inductance
◆Impregnated elements to eliminate corona
SPECIFICATION:
1. CAPACITANCE RANGE:
0.1µF~ 3µF MEASURED AT 1 KHZ AND 25℃
2. CAPACITY TOLERANCE:±5%(J), ±10%(K )
3. RATED VOLTAGE VDC:1000, 1250, 1500, 2000
4. TEST VOLTAGE BETWEEN TERMINALS:
2.5 X RATED VOLTAGE VDC FOR 10 SECONDS
TEST VOLTAGE TERMINAL TO CASE:
3KV AT 50HZ FOR 60 SECONDS
5. DISSIPATION FACTOR(TAN δ):
≦5 X 10-4 AT 1KHZ AND 25℃
6. TEMPERATURE RANGE:-40℃ ~ +85℃
7. EQUIVALENT SERIES INDUCTANCE(ESL):
THE VALUE IS DETERMINED BY THE TERMINAL
OPTION SELECTED AND IS MEASURED AT
RESONANCE
8. INSULATION RESISTANCE AT 25℃ AT A TEST
VOLTAGE OF 500VDC APPLIED FOR 1 MINUTE:
