KPC are polypropylene film , aluminium foil .
Non-inductive winding construction, extended foil
impregnated UL class 94V-0 preformed case with
thermosetting resin fill, Terminals tinned copper.
Power semiconductor devices require fast
switching and low loss characteristics.
These characteristics demand snubber capacitors
which have very low losses, high dv/dt and low
series inductance.

Polypropylene as dielectric for achieving low losses
Aluminium foil as electrodes to achieve maximum dv/dt
Special mechanical construction to achieve minimum
series inductance
Impregnated elements to eliminate corona
