„ DESCRIPTION
T he UTC TA8207K is an audio power IC with built-in two channels
and thermal shut down protection circuit.
The IC is devel oped for portable radio cassette tape recorder with
power ON/OFF switch.

4. OSCILLATION PREVENTIVE MEASURES
For oscillati on preve ntive cap acitor C6 an d C7 bet ween th e output termi nal an d GND, pol yester film capacit or is
recommended due to good characteristic s for temperat ure a nd for h igh freq uency. It is better that use th is
capacitor after the temperature test to check the oscillation allowance due to the characteristics of the ca pacitor is
liable to be i nfluenced b y the temperature. Besides, as t he positi on of the el ectrolytic capacit or has remarkab le
influence on the oscillation, connect C10 to VCC as close power GND as possible.
At using this application with the voltage gain reduced, oscillation is liable to be produced. Apply the capacitor after
checking enough for its capacity, type and mounting position.
5. POWER ON/OFF SWITCH
There is po wer on/off s witch at (3) pi n. However, output p ower is cha nged by (3) pin s upply voltage when(3) pin
supply voltage I not same(12) pin supply voltage, after referring to attached date, select(3) pin supply voltage.
6. INPUT VOLTAGE
When the excessive si gnal is inp ut, turni ng-up is pr oduced i n the c lip waveform. T he turning- up p oint is
VIN=300mVRMS (typ.): VCC=9V, RL=4, f=1kHz: Enough care must be taken for this phenomenon.
7. GND LINE
GND pin is not separated for pre-GND and for PW-GND. That is liable to cause distortion and cross talk worse.
