heThis series of fixed-voltage monolithic integrated-circuit
Svoltage regulators is designed for a wide range of
taapplications.
aThese applications include on-card regulation for
.Delimination of noise and distribution problems associated
wwith single-point regulation.
wwIn addition, they can be used with power-pass elements
IL78LXX
TO - 92
to make high current voltage regulators.
Each of these regulators can deliver up to 100mA output
current.
mThe internal limiting and thermal shutdown features of
othese regulators make them essentially immune to overload.
.cWhen used as a replacement for a zener diode-resistor com-
bination, an effective improvement in output impedance
can be obtained together with lower-bias current.
