3.3 V OCTAL BUS TRANSCEIVER WITH 3 STATE OUTPUTS
Description
The 74LVT245BB is an octal transceiver designed for asynchronous
communication between data buses. The device transmits data from
the A bus to the B bus or from the B bus to the A bus, depending on
the logic level at the direction-control (DIR) input. The output-enable
(OE) Pin can be used to disable the device so the buses effectively
are isolated.
The device is designed for operation with a power supply range of
2.7V to 3.6V.
The inputs are tolerant to 5.5V allowing this device to be used in a
mixed voltage environment. The device is fully specified for partial
power down applications using IOFF. The IOFF circuitry disables the
output preventing damaging current backflow when the device is
powered down.

Inputs Include Bus-Hold No Resistors on Unused Inputs.
Inputs can be Driven by 3.3V or 5V Allowing for Mixed Voltage

Schmitt Trigger Action at All Inputs
Outputs in 3-State During Power Up Allows for Hot Insertion
Outputs Have Less than 125µA Leakage when Forced to 5.5V
ESD Protection Tested per JESD 22
Exceeds 200-V Machine Model (A115)
Exceeds 2000-V Human Body Model (A114)
Exceeds 1000-V Charged Device Model (C101)
Latch-Up Exceeds 500mA per JESD 78, Class II
